HST Research

HST's faculty members, affiliates and students conduct innovative research at the intersections of science, engineering, and medicine. HST's unique partnership between Harvard and MIT provides its investigators with special access to both universities' world-class resources and to Harvard Medical School's teaching hospitals. This partnership facilitates collaborations across disciplines and leverages the strengths of multiple institutions.

As a result, our researchers accomplish more than they could independently. Moreover, because HST connections create bridges between the laboratory bench and the hospital bedside, HST is able to accelerate the transfer of emerging science and technology to the commercial and medical enterprise.

Members of the HST community - students, faculty and staff -- are required to adhere to standards outlined in the HST Credo of Professionalism.
