Support for HST Faculty

HST faculty members come from throughout the program's parent institutions and affiliated hospitals and research centers. In addition to laboratories at HST, MIT, Harvard University and the Harvard Medical School (HMS), several HMS teaching hospitals in the Boston area are also involved--including Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Children's Hospital, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and Massachusetts General Hospital.

Faculty volunteer their time because of their interest in, and commitment to, our extraordinary students. HST seeks funds to recruit and retain faculty, particularly in structural and functional biomedical imaging, bioinformatics and integrative biology, and regenerative and functional biomedical technologies. Named faculty professorships--at the assistant /associate level and at the full professorship level--are available.
