Application Deadline
The BEP application deadline is December 15 for all program tracks. Promising applicants are invited to interview in mid-February. Applicants are notified by early March.
Admissions Information and Instructions
BEP is designed for individuals who have a passion for creating and leading entities that will make improvements in health care. A bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or quantitative analysis -- or substantial background in one of these three areas -- is required for all degree tracks. Candidates should also have the equivalent of three years of relevant work experience, preferably in the biomedical field, although those with a PhD or an MD will also be considered. Applicants to the single-degree track should also hold an MBA or other graduate-level degree in management.
BEP is highly competitive and accepts only those candidates who have demonstrated potential as leaders in biomedical enterprise.
The Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) or the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is required for those seeking admission to a dual-degree track. To send GRE scores to HST, use code 0699, Health/Medical Sciences-Other.
All candidates to HST programs whose native language is not English, or who did not attend an English-language secondary school, must submit either an IELTS or a TOEFL score report.
IELTS: strongly preferred; minimum score required: 7
TOEFL: minimum score required: 600 (250 for computer-based), department code: 99
