The mission of the MIT Enterprise Forum (MITEF) is to inform, connect, and coach technology entrepreneurs—enabling them to rapidly transform ideas into world-changing companies. They are a global network of local organizations, inspired by MIT, and open to the world.
Founded in April 2015 the MIT Biotech Group is an organization dedicated to serving as the student hub for outward-facing life sciences activities at MIT. The goal of MBG is to provide MIT trainees with useful exposure to careers, people, and opportunities in various areas of the Biotechnology industry. The MIT IDEAS Global Challenge connects students with the passion and talent to improve the world with the experience and resources of the MIT community worldwide. They support innovation and entrepreneurship as public service through an annual competition that awards up to $10,000 per team for the best ideas to tackle barriers to well being.
The MIT Entrepreneurs Club, focuses on developing all aspects of science and technology business creation through weekly meetings, for-credit seminars, panels, and workshops.
The MIT Venture Mentoring Service matches prospective MIT entrepreneurs (including students) with volunteer mentors.
Harvard Innovation Lab
The Harvard Innovation Lab (i-lab) serves as a resource for students interested in entrepreneurship and innovation. The programming offered by the i-lab is designed to help students grow their ventures at any stage of development and covers a wide range of disciplines.
