Jared Mayers, MD (HST '17), Ph.D., is a recipient of the 2017 Science & SciLifeLab Prize for Young Scientists in the category of Translational Medicine.
"The international prize is awarded annually to four young scientists for outstanding life science research for which he/she earned a doctoral degree in the previous two years." Together with three other winners of the 2017 prize, Dr. Mayers has been invited to Stockholm, Sweden for the awards ceremony and banquet.
