Welcome to HST's 2022 MEMP candidates

You are invited to join us February 28 - March 4, 2022, for a variety of remote events designed to help you explore HST as you decide where to attend graduate school. 

Below is the final schedule, links have been added. All events are optional. We hope to see you throughout the week!

Tuesday, March 1:

7:00pm - 8:00pm EST - Dinner and Conversations
Visitors and current students will be matched for small-group discussions based on common academic and research interests.

Wednesday, March 2:

11:00am - 12:00pm EST - Martinos Center Virtual Visit 
Join Drs. Bruce Rosen, Randy Gollub & Robert Barry to learn about research opportunities at Martinos, Neuroimaging Training Program (NTP) support, and chat with faculty.

5:00pm - 6:00pm EST - Meet-and-Greet with HST Leadership
Current students will interview members of the HST faculty leadership.

7:00pm - 8:30pm EST - Virtual HST Student Lounge
Casual opportunity for visitors to chat with current students over coffee and/or board games

7:00pm - 8:00pm EST - Diversity Mixer
Join current students for informal discussions about the multiple forms of diversity in our community and recent initiatives to enhance equity and inclusion. This will take place in a room within the Virtual HST Student Lounge, so you can easily move between the two events. 

Thursday, March 3:

Casual opportunity for visitors to chat with current students over coffee and/or board games

7:00pm - 8:00pm EST - HST Women's Group
Join current students and faculty for informal conversations about life as a woman in STEMM. All are welcome. This will take place in a room within the Virtual HST Student Lounge, so you can easily move between the two events.

Friday, March 4:

4:00pm - 5:00pm EST - MEMP Information Session with Q & A*

7:45pm - 8:00pm EST - Meet to organize Trivia teams

8:00pm - 9:30pm EST - Trivia Night

Camaraderie and competition with current students in a private “Geeks Who Drink” setting. Bring your wit, food, and beverage!

Summary instructions: The event will be broadcast live on https://www.twitch.tv. In addition, https://discordapp.com is used for team members to communicate with each other. Participants will need to set-up, in advance, a free Discord account. This will be used to connect to event. The company encourages players to log into Discord 15-20 mins before the start time if they feel they will need help with the technical aspects of the game. Trivia "sheets" will be submitted via Google Forms (1 per team).
