Sam Finlayson

Becoming a physician-scientist: How personal and family health struggles shaped the career of HST MD grad Sam Finlayson

Finlayson had two main goals when it came to pursuing a career in medicine: first, to be an engineer who could help advance medical capabilities through lifesaving technology; and, second, to be a physician who could embrace uncertainty while working on behalf of his patients and their families.
